The Rugby Club at the Palm Resort is a very popular destination for ex-pats. It’s located at the far west end of Al Ain, on the way out to Abu Dhabi. (It’s about a 15-minute drive from the Hilton Hotel.)
Here are some photos for you.
The entrance…
Turn left as you go through the entrance, and proceed about 1 km, past the shooting range…
The noticeboard on the left of the reception area…
The gym…
The main pool, and a much shallower, covered, round one for young children, with changing rooms next to it…
The left side of the rugby grounds…
…and the right side, with collapsed bouncy castles, almost ready for an evening do…
The covered viewing area…
Nice food is served in the bar,and there’s a projector screen which shows children’s films at times to keep them entertained…
Another section of the bar area…
The bar itself…
I went along with a friend to a quiz night many moons ago and the place was packed to the gills. We had great fun. Check it out, if you haven’t already.
